Hey All, I'm putting together a list of all fine press books I have for trade, this will obviously change over time. I'm happy to consider most any trade, since (for better or worse) I am interested in most any good book! I list a few of my wants below, but again feel free to send me a message if you are interested - and let's see if we can find something :)

TRADE LIST:
Epicurus - LEC (spine in poor shape, slipcase poor, internally NF/F)
The Gentleman from Cracow & The Mirror - LEC (with Monthly Letter & announcement)
The Idiot - LEC
The Oresteia - Allen
Robinson Jeffers a Portrait - Yolla Bolly (with Thank You card)
Romeo and Juliet - Heritage Press (1935)
The Sea Around US - LEC
This Is My Blood - Yolla Bolly (one of 50 slipcased, signed by James Laughlin)

I would say the most desirable/rare book in my current list is the Allen Press Oresteia - one of the most beautiful books I have ever owned. Below are a couple pictures of the actual set I have for trade:

WANT LIST:
Allen Press - most titles
Arion Press - a few titles
Grabhorn Press - will consider most titles
Limited Editions Club - quite a few titles
Yolla Bolly Press - a few titles
Other Fine Press - let me know what you have for trade!

As an example: some of the titles I'm looking for include:

A commonplace Book of Cookery - Arion Press
A Lie of the Mind - Arion
American Buffalo - Arion
Alice in Wonderland - LEC
The Bacchae - Allen Press
Bibliography of the Grabhorn Press
Hiroshima - LEC
Julius Caesar - Grabhorn
On the Origin of the Species - LEC
Poems of Robert Frost - LEC
Poems and a Memoir - LEC
Season in Hell - LEC
...and many more!

Well, I'll bite, though I'm afraid our lists don't match up all that much and I don't have that many that I am willing to part with yet (give me a chance to read them first). At the moment, the ones on my to trade list are:

Pride and Prejudice (half leather) - Thornwillow Press
The Nose - Arion Press

There are also a number of Folio Society standard editions I am hoping to trade, which I'll get around to posting about on that forum someday.

In terms of fine press books I'm looking for, I am principally interested in books about Japan, and Asia, with the LEC version of Snow Country at the top of the list.

The Allen Press Oresteia looks like it is in superb condition and, of course- it's beautiful.

>3 SDB2012: it is, and it is :)
One of my favorite fine press editions of all time, and in my opinion one of the best works the Allen Press has produced - which is saying quite a bit.

I added a few books.

LEC: The Crime of Sylvestre Bonnard
This book has two pages which have tears in them. That's unfortunate, because otherwise it would be in fine condition. Clearly, it's not worth much, but perhaps someone will still appreciate this...

HP: Paradise Lost with the William Blake illustrations. Some sunning on the spine. Definitely not an expensive copy, but nevertheless quite nice and Blake's illustrations are stunning (of course).

Here is the "big one" -- All Three Volumes of the 1913 Limited Edition of The Canterbury Tales published by the Medici Society and limited to 500 copies. This edition features the gorgeous (my personal favorite) illustrations by William Russell Flint. There is some soiling to the covers, but honestly quite little overall and internally I would say NF/F condition. Happy to send pics, here are two teasers --

>22 astropi: can I ask if the copy of The Picture of Dorian Grey you are advertising is a spare or a replacement? I ask as I note in another thread you recently said how much you enjoy having that book.
I also like the art very much, but I think the shipping to the UK may be cost prohibitive.
