I've been to Washington state, California, Washington, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia with a lawyer who's trying to figure out why a man who committed suicide tried to contact him the day before he died. It's The Jury Master by Robert Dugoni.

I have been enjoying bookish visits to France this month. I travelled to the Dordogne in the company of Martin Walker'sChief of Police Bruno Courreges and 'The shooting at Chateau Rock' which may have a different title in the US as it does not come up on touchstones. It is No 13 in the series.
Currently I am further North, in Poissons-les-Marais in Picardie with Inspector Lucas Rocco, late of the Paris police. I am greatly enjoying Death on the Marais and feel confident that I will read more in this series of which this is the first.

>5 Maura49: The reason it didn't come up in Touchstones is because you probably didn't have the capability to put the little marks over the word "Chateau". I don't either...so when I put it in the list of the places we have traveled under "France"...I copied it into "search' and then copied and pasted it and it came up in the Touchstones.

I've been in England and France in the 1940s with a young woman who wants to find her cousin who went missing in France during the German occupation. It's The Alice Network by Kate Quinn.
