Hello!
I just picked up a copy of Jules Verne's From The Earth To The Moon. I was looking for the Masterpieces of Science Fiction edition to complement my copy of Around The Moon but I didn't pay close enough attention that the edition I purchased online was from The Collector's Library of Famous Editions series of EP books. Which is fine. This book is gorgeous.
My question is how this edition from The Collector's Library of Famous Editions series differs from the edition released as part of the MoSF series? I know that the MoSF has a graphic on the front of the capsule traveling from the Earth to the Moon to complement the graphic on the front of Around The Moon which has the capsule orbiting the moon. My edition from The Collector's Library of Famous Editions series as rectangular graphic. In addition, the end pages are of higher quality in the CLFE edition compared to the MoSF edition.
What about the introduction? Is it different? The CLFE intro is by Jean Jules-Verne. Is that the same for the MoSF edition? What about the collector's notes or illustrations? The CLFE notes are called "Notes From the Archive." Is it the same text as the collector's notes for the MoSF edition? The CLFE illustrations are by Robert Shore.
It would be great if Wootle's labour of love database on all things EP included these details. If it was a shared Google Sheet we could all insert the info we have.
Thanks!

>2 Wootle: Thanks Wootle, I will do that. But I am still relatively new to LT ... How do I find your photo albums? I can't seem to locate them on your profile page.
