couldn't insert into books_physical_pages

When trying to add a particular book, I get this message: "couldn't insert into books_physical_pages". If you want to try it, the ISBN is 9780008168186. The book is the UK version of Sebastian Junger's Tribe.

Sadly, now on my Home "recently added" shelf I have 4 blank (brown) book covers, because I tried this 4 times, which when hovered over show this book but when I click on them I get this message:

"Problem

This is a private book."

These do not appear in the "Your Books" list so I can't delete them. And I still cannot add it correctly.

Is there anything I should be doing differently, here? Minimally can you help me remove these 4 from my recently added shelf, and worse case scenario I'll create it manually instead of searching for the ISBN.

Adding the book should be fixed now. As far as removing the private books, I am not sure and will have to get back to you.

The books should no longer show on your Recently Added section. They actually hadn't been added, but they were just in memory as if they had been added. Thank you for finding this problem!

Some people are problem solvers. I'm a problem finder. Hopefully not a problem creator.

Thanks for the help. I use that recently added section all the time. It would have crashed my OCD to have 4 blank volumes showing on there.

knerd.knitter (#2):

I don't recall having seen you with the magic L before - are you a new employee, or am I just unobservant? Welcome, if it's the first case!

>5 lorax: I'm guessing that knerd.knitter is the Lucy that Tim has mentioned in a couple of recent posts. (sorry, I can't provide links right now). It does seem strange that there was no formal "welcome aboard" message like what Meg got.

I didn't want to assume someone was new and just have it turn out that I was unobservant!
