Hi all,
This is my first post on LT so hopefully I'm doing it right! I had some students approach me today looking for a book they enjoyed in primary school. Here's what they had for me:
- Fiction - likely Junior or Middle Grade
- About a Spy or Secret Agent. The character was involved in codebreaking in some capacity
- Female main character, possibly female author
- She had a charm bracelet or watch that she could use to access her spy tools, like summoning a spy plane (?)
- Possibly had the number 13 somewhere in the title
- Blue/silver cover with a blonde girl with a single ponytail. I've already asked if it was part of the Jane Blonde series but apparently not!
- Part of a large series (5+ books) and each book was about the size of an Aussie Bite book, or just a bit longer. Which brings me to...
- Possibly an Australian series. The students were unsure but one said they remembered it being Australian. They would have read it in primary school about 4 years ago.
Thank you in advance for any help! This not knowing is driving me (and the students!) up the wall :)

I was about to suggest the Gallagher Girls series by Allie Carter, until I saw you said they were probably Australian.

The cover of New Guard by Robert Muchamore happens to fit the description, might be worth a try.
