If it looks like a troll, sounds like a troll and smells like a troll, it's probably a troll.

I think this is an important point. Are we describing what is was or what it is in the process of becoming. Because that could change the overall tone of the three words.

For the life of me I don't understand how >4 wfarter: violates LT TOS. I also don't understand why one would hang out or comment on a product in which one has no interest.

English (because it's probably the only UK publisher with whom I have any familiarity, and/or business of any sort that has me buying from the UK regularly)
Slipcase (because this is the most distinguishable feature common to nearly all Folios, and because most other publishers don't employ them, at least not with a serious regularity)
Variety (because somehow, Folio's portfolio makes so many other publishers' portfolios just seem bland)

Link to FS survey asking the same question here.
Putting your answers here for everyone to see, and on the FS survey to inform the FS directly, would be the perfect options.

>21 wcarter: Thank you for the link. I note that they want three words to describe the Folio Society, not the books...

>14 Jobasha: With "changing" i just meant that the company, as well as their products, seem to be changing now from what they used to be. It wasn't a perfect way to describe what i feel about the direction they seem to be taking, but had to restrict myself to a single word. Their products are surely still beautiful (not as much as they used to be, though), but they are becoming more and more expensive. And the choice, the design and the overall quantity of books seems to be changing.

Now wait a minute...your three words aren't describing Folio Society or their books - you're each describing your own house!

My relationship with Folio has cooled over the past few years.
First I was head over heels.
I spent a ton of money on that love.
Then I felt I was getting the cold shoulder. Asking too much of me in comparison to others, just because of my address.
Then my needs were not being satisfied, whilst a flood of faddish scientists entered the scene.
Finally, I stopped getting in touch, and despite the odd flicker of remembrance, I have cooled and any interaction is now purely transactional on equal terms.
