hello,

last one for a while.

this might be difficult to explain. I was also thinking it would be nice to have a small box appear at the left of the book cover image, or over on the far right that lets you color code your satisfaction with cataloguing. For instance, when I began, my goal was to get as many books entered as possible and then come back and fill in details. A little box, colored red, would indicate that I have much work to add; yellow box would indicate that I have begun cataloguing details; and a green box would indicate that I have completed everything that I am interested in completing. That way, I won't be left wondering, if I get sidetracked, periodically, where I left off. I won't have to open up each and every book to find out if it needs work or not.

Thank you again

You can use tags for that (or collections, but tags are probably more convenient). It's easy to bring up all books within a category that way. Once the status changes, just delete the tag, or change to appropriate one

>1 EGBERTINA: I'm in something like the same boat. In my case, I use an asterix as a tab when I've not finished cataloguing an item. That applies to my own library where I pushed on without checking the state of the CK, and "wants" that I only have sketchy information for. More than a quarter of my library has an asterix as a tab.

You could also use the inventory function in your catalog by clicking the down arrow next to "Tags" and selecting "take inventory". That will give you a circle next to each book that you can click to turn green, red, or grey.
