Woodworking books?

Hi, I'm looking for books on furniture-building, cabinetry, and general shop skills, both the general/memoir variety and the detailed how-to variety. There are a lot of them and they are generally big and expensive so I thought I'd ask y'all for recommendations. Thanks!

Nick Offerman is a woodworker. He wrote a nice semi-biography, Good Clean Fun. He reads the audio version too.

My husband is a woodworker and he likes the titles from Fine Woodworking for how-tos.
