I did a universal import for 109 issues of a journal. For date I put for example "May/June 1999" with each journal having a different date. However they all uploaded as 1969. Is there a way first to edit these, and second to do it better for my next journal upload. thank you

>1 nonob: I think it's best to just put the year in the date column, which I think I had mentioned when I described the similar importing I'd done, in one of your other threads. Put the full "May/June 1999" at the end of the issue title instead. "Awesome History Journal, Vol 01 Issue 03 (May/June 1999)" or something along those lines, just don't put the volume and issue numbers in parentheses or after a colon.

Oh that's right you did tell me that. I did manage to edit the date on one of them so I might slog my way through that for the first series but for the next ones I will do as you suggested. Sorry to make you have to say it twice.

>3 nonob: That's okay, it can be complicated to add stuff in optimal ways. I'm pretty new here myself but spent about a month before I registered, just reading about how everything works and what pitfalls to avoid.
Do you know you can edit years and titles directly in your catalog grid view? I use that a lot for making similar changes to a lot of items. (I know these will all be different, but you can quickly see the last one you did was May/June 1999 so the next will be July/August 1999, etc, plus you don't have to load all the separate pages.)
