I think she'll stop at nothing to get a story that she wants. She also has no concern about the consequences of her story as was the case with Dewain Wright. To me, she's a tabloid journalist who doesn't follow any journalistic standards (and believe it or not, there actually are journalistic standards that list things like reporting the truth and being unbiased).

I think she's driven and wants to report the big story. However, I think that she's actually going to end up as a sort of ally during this case. Someone that can help Kim and her team put out the information that they want to get specific reactions from the kidnappers.

I agree with >2 gaylebutz:. I think she would do anything to get her story no matter who it hurts. >3 bhabeck: could be right that she can be a big help but I think it will only happen if it benefits her.

I don't think she's any worse than other journalists. I think it was proven in this section that the story came out after the kid was dead. She published it before she knew he was dead, so technically it would have gotten him killed if he wasn't already dead.

I agree with Brenda that Tracy may be an asset in helping to find the girls by printing what Kim wants to get out to the public.

I don't like the woman, but that goes with the territory: it takes a special kind of person to be a journalist...

>7 Sergeirocks:. Lol. She fits the mold of a modern day journalist. I don’t see her helping Kim. I’m more inclined to think she’ll be on Syme’s hit list.

Yes not likeable but the typical type of reporter we get in these books. What is it about them!

>9 Andrew-theQM: yes, stereo-typical reporter. Annoying. Just want to see their name in the papers. Egoes, Ugh
