Hi everyone, I'm Beth Ruffin and I'm new to LibraryThing. Spending today getting the hang of it :-)
I'm the author of 2 non-fiction books, which is interesting because I got my undergrad degree in English Writing with a Concentration in Fiction. I always imagined that I'd be holed up in some town in New England, sipping tea and writing the next great novel. But life didn't turn out that way. After college, I entered the world of work and for 20 years, worked in the Insurance industry (super boring, I know). Then, in 2019, I left Corporate America to go into business for myself. I am a consultant, coach, speaker, and author. All of my creativity goes towards the topic of inclusion. In fact, I'm committed to making our world more inclusive. I want our world to be one where people feel valued, no matter what they look like, where they're from, who they love, or how they sound. So, that's me in a nutshell. I'm working on book #3 which will be more for corporate clients.
