Is this the original slipcase for Heritage Press Frankenstein?

I just bought this. However, I have never seen a picture of a New York HP Frankenstein with a brown slipcase. The Sandglass says the slipcase is supposed to be purple. Seller says he doesn't have any other case. How much does this reduce the value? I paid $75 because it's in fine condition and I have yet to see a New York HP Frankenstein in fine condition. But is it worth $75 now that I know this brown slipcase isn't original?

Although you can never be sure with Heritage Press because there seem to be many variations on some titles and sometimes the Sandglass (or Monthly Letter, for that matter) has incorrect information. My slipcase id definitely purple, as the one picture on this ebay listing:

Do you think $75 was a fair price for fine condition? It does appear to be extremely difficult to find the New York version of this book in fine condition. I feel like the price is probably appropriate but I'm looking for opinions. I still haven't received it and could request partial refund since it isn't the original slipcase. The seller said he got it for 50% off from a bookstore in the year 1999 with this brown slipcase. The seller did not change the slipcase. It could have been on sale way back then because it didn't have the original slipcase. However, I don't want to ask for any money back if the community feels it's not appropriate.

The first HP printing is not a common one, and checking ABE, I only see one for sale, condition described as "Good--Book has general shelf wear, age toned spine, previous owner bookplate on inner front cover" and the seller is asking $100. In that respect, if your copy is truly Fine, even with a mismatched slipcase, then it may not be overpriced.

If mine says New York Heritage Press and has the purple lettering and purple hand graphic on the cover, is that a first HP printing? How can I tell if it is a first HP printing other than the color scheme and the New York label? I know the blue color scheme is for the Connecticut HP.

Purple letting indicates 1st NY edition.
