So, just so I'm understanding correctly, this is a non-fiction group?

>5 rocketjk: Yes. It focuses on the history of the western half of the US (you can include Canada as well) from the days of the native tribes, early exploration by white guys, settlement, cattle industry, ranching, outlaws, gunmen...you get the idea. If a book deals with the history of the U. S. west of the Mississippi, it belongs here. Oftentimes, books that treat with one area will also deal with others as boundaries in the early days weren't hard and fast. Books dealing with the fur trade in the West are a case in point. Canadian trappers and traders were as much a part of the trade in what is now the U.S. as were Americans.
