ReneeMarie, has the situation become any better? I was SHOCKED by your account last month and by the stuff some of your politicians said! I'm certainly happy I haven't lived in the U.S. these past months...

Here, the situation at least feels a lot better. Nearly all shops and businesses have opened again. And at least in my part of the country, there aren't many new infections. We all have to follow the new hygiene rules and wear face masks in public buildings - and not everybody complies with that, which simply SUCKS - that's okay and life feels a lot more normal than it has over the last months. In July, the opening hours of our office will be back to normal, and hopefully business will be back to normal - with face masks and disinfectant spray and wipes and only a certain amount of people allowed in.

I'm reading the first Paul Doherty book I bought last month, The slayers of Seth, set in Ancient Egypt right now and I really enjoy it! I'm most definitely interested in his other series set in medieval England, too!

Today I bought a beautiful calendar/agenda for 2021 as well as The Changeling by Victor LaValle.

At the end of this month is my birthday (the last in my thirties, *cough*...:p) and I will hopefully get some BOOKS off my wishlist... :D

Didn't buy anything, but got a few books as birthday gift. :D

Before the coffee gets cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi,

and the lavishly and beautifully illustrated books
Nordic Tales by Ulla Thynell,
Celtic Tales by Kate Forrester, and
The Undead by Johan Egerkrans.

***AWESOME!***
