how to combine related series

Hi combiners
With the new series release, when I look at My Books series, there are a lot of related 'series that overlap' showing up that I think could be combined because they are showing different languages. I would like a recap as to how to do it so I don't mess it up.

I am seeing both 50 Ideas and 50 Schlusselideen even though I only have 1 book in the series.

This seems like a simple thing I could do if I had a small series of directions.

If it's just different languages, but same books and no reason to wonder - on the series page there's under 'Edit series' on the right 'Relationships/Combine' option

I'm trying to combine two series: https://www.librarything.com/nseries/312388/Macmillan-Modern-French-Literature-S... and https://www.librarything.com/nseries/259012/Macmillan-Modern-French-Literature , but can't, because for some reason neither one shows up in a search.

>4 x_hoxha: Not sure, but it could be because both are Publisher series, not regular series. You could try turning both into regular series, and seeing if they combine then. Then you can switch them back to Publisher series.

>4 x_hoxha: the problem appeared to be that there were no overlapping works. Because of how few works there are, I went ahead and added the books under the cleaner name, the bottom link. You might want to check that the basic settings are good.
