The ISBN search is very frustrating! Most (audio)books I have put in are (initially) not found. :-(
Latest example: ISBN 9781528866385 which should point to the audiobook of Secret City: The Capital Files. An LT search on Amazon UK books listed it by title+author, but not by ISBN.
However the online shop Blackwell's lists it with this ISBN.
I really hope for a better ISBN search, because that's what you easily can scan from the covers.

It is not an LT problem though.
A search for the ISBN on Amazon.co.uk (https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=9781528866385) does not find it either. Search by title+ audio (https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=secret+city%3A+the+capital+files+audio does)
LT cannot find something that the site you are searching on cannot find. So not LT this time - you will have to complain to Amazon.co.uk about that I am afraid :)
This is a known issue with the Amazons and ISBNs for audiobooks - even when the audiobooks have ISBNs, they will often ignore them and only record their own ASIN numbers. Same happens with the ebooks occasionally so I had given up on trying ISBNs for any of those.
PS: Occasionally, Amazon will make some data available only via their API and search. Take for example https://www.amazon.com/s?k=9780486833262 - even though the ISBN is nowhere on the page (https://www.amazon.com/Sir-Gawain-Green-Knight-Editions-ebook/dp/B07FFK6L5F/), it is there for the APIs and the search.
In your example above, it simply is not there despite other stores reporting it.

By the way - Amazon.co.uk finds this audio CD under a different isbn: 9781528866910 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Secret-City-Chris-Uhlmann/dp/1528866916
If you search with this one, it finds it. So either there are two cds out there or someone is wrong on what is the isbn of this cd.

I myself got the impression that audiobooks have settled in the wild-west of ISBN land...

>4 halloleo: The error might easily be on Amazon's side. If so, one would have to ask them to correct things.

OK, it should be in Overcat now. Since looking for that ISBN on WorldCat only resulted in Australian hits, and gave an Australian publisher, I tried a few Aussie sources until one (Swift consortium) worked.
If you are trying to enter Australian media, you will probably have better luck with Australian sources.
>3 AnnieMod: That is a UK publisher.

Yep. Should stop comparing names late at night. So there are two of them - the UK one which is on Amazon.co.uk and the Australian one which is not :)
>4 halloleo:
They are.... and they are not. :) It can be maddening sometimes. And then as it turned out, there is a country problem here as well - MarthaJeanne managed to track your book :)

>7 MarthaJeanne: >8 AnnieMod: The flakyness of the sources is a bit maddening indeed. I feel like Australian Audiobooks do not seem to be catalogued well. - In an way thanks for all the details!

I would not expect Australian editions to be catalogued outside of Australia. In general, ebooks and audiobooks are going to be less well catalogued in library sources. My library offers English language ebooks and audiobooks through OverDrive, but these offerings are not in the general online library catalogue. I have to search for them both there and in the OverDrive app to see what editions they offer. If a book was originally written in Norwegian, do I want to read the paper book in German or the ebook in English?
