What sort of repercussions do you think this case, and her contact with Alex, will have for Kim?

I'm hoping that this might make Kim face some of her demons and, perhaps, go back therapy with Ted. At a minimum, she needs to start opening up to her friends.

I think what happened to Kim will make her realize that she needs to go back to counseling.

I can't see Kim agreeing to counseling. But she did get Ted to counsel Ruth so she respects the idea of counseling.

I think Kim will continue in her own sweet way. As I said before, she's functioning pretty well despite being 'broken'. Any 'fixing' will occur naturally, as and when Kim is ready - she already took one step by taking on Barney. David Hardwick may be the next step, who knows?

I wonder if we've seen the last of Dr. Alex...?

Her "problems" are the part of her personality that makes the story that leads to all the rest of what happens in each book...if that makes any sense to anyone but me:) >5 Sergeirocks: Alex...I sure hope we have seen her riding off into the sunset. Can you imagine what she can do in a prison setting????

I think Alex stirred up Kim’s thinking. She may not go to counseling but maybe try to change on her own as >5 Sergeirocks: says. I really hated Alex but I suspect we’ll see her again.
