Was Kim right to go after Alex rather than Dougie?

I think she had to or Alex would have gotten away. By taking her into the water with her, it at least gave her a chance to save Dougie while slowing down Alex's escape

Yes since she didn't want Alex to get away.

She made the right choice.

Kim managed to do both at the same time - her knocking Alex into the canal took little more time than simply jumping in after Dougie. Cool thinking on Kim's part, I'm not sure I'd have come up with that solution under such pressure.

I think she knew if she found Dougie she would find Alex also. She saw it as a chance to not only save Dougie and catch Alex in the act. At last...a living breathing wittiness to Alex's wicked deeds.

It was risky but the right thing to do. Alex needed to be stopped.
