Any thoughts on why Charlie Cook attempted suicide?

We were being led to believe that it had to do with the molesting of the girls but I never bought him as the second person so I had no idea what lead to the attempt.

I thought it had to do with the youth group he liked to attend.

I think he was just a very lonely man who had no hope in ever connecting with anyone.

No. But like Brenda, I didn't think he was the 'shadow' in the DVD.

I didn't see him as anything but a very lonely man. I had Uncle Robin pegged as the shadow on the video. Angela Masons pulled that one off in spades:)
