Did Kim do the right thing in going to speak to Alex alone?

no - Kim is vulnerable to someone who is able to manipulate others through their guilt and other feelings. However, I can understand why she felt she had to go alone

I don't think she realizes what sort of threat Alex poses. I think she made a mistake in meeting her but I can see why it never crossed her mind that it might be.

No, I think that was very risky because she has not worked through her guilt and trauma and is vulnerable to Alex's manipulations. But she had to try it.

No. Kim may think she's strong-minded, but she's an innocent in comparison with Alex. Kim is far too vulnerable at this stage.

No as Kim is very weak with her own guilt and Alex will know how to use Kim’s weakness to her own advantage.
