Any thoughts on Alex’s sister? What do you think her story will be?

I think Alex was manipulative and evil as a child and her sister figured it out. She probably also suspects that Alex was behind the death of their parents. The fact that Alex sends her detailed letters like that to show that she’s tracking her is really creepy

I think Alex's sister got all the attention when they were little so Alex is bound and determined to make her sister's life miserable.

She appears to be really afraid for her family - this probably says it all...

I believe that she tormented and controlled this girl from the time that they were children. I don't believe that the sister had to do anything to receive this treatment except to have been born. I bet her parents were afraid of her and afraid to try to stop it. I agree with >2 bhabeck: that Alex more than likely caused the death of their parents.
