Love your theme.

I think that I gave read the first 9 or 10 Cat Who books. In the couple of years before my mother’s death I bought her all the Cat Who book one after the other and she read them all. She finished the last book about 3 months before she died. She really loved the series.

THANK YOU, EVERYONE.

JANUARY READS

1. A Map Of Days by Ransom Riggs
A new continuation of the Miss Peregrine series about Peculiars in America. The only downside is I hate when a novel ends leaving you wanting more.

2. Weird But True by Leslie Gilbert Elman
An interesting collection of random facts. Very nice segues between topics.

3. The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck by Mark Manson
Thought-provoking book on how to live your life without a care about how others think you should.

4. The Falcon at the Portal by Elizabeth Peters
My first Amelia Peabody mystery. Too long on characters and not enough mystery.

5. The Mammoth Book of One-Liners by Geoff Tibballs
A collection of one-line jokes. Most are groaners.

6. Learning To Ride by Erin Knightley
Short love story. Rushed, with no depth.

7. Necroscope by Brian Lumley
A true 80's horror book. With a vampire twist.

BEST BOOK: A Map Of Days

WORST BOOK: The Mammoth Book of One-Liners

4. French Twist by James Patterson
I love Luc Moncrief but the subplot was better than the one described on the back of the book.

Good story, but no character caught my attention.
