December winners

Are the emails going out late for December wins because of the holiday?

December batch closed December 30.

November batch closed November 25. Wins went out on November 29.
October 28 - before November 6
September 30- October 5

Closed on last Monday, wins the next Friday or Saturday.

Doesn't look to me like they are late yet. What with the holiday and year end tasks, I think you could give them another week at least.

Usually they go out the next Tuesday - so sometime next week.

I usually would get my email about December wins the day after it closes.

I think new batches arrive on the first Monday, or on some specific day, so I imagine winner notices will arrive in the preceding days. I imagine there is some cleaning up to do after SantaThing and the card exchange.

I received notification today that I had won a book from the December batch.

I'll be getting Gold Rush Girl by Avi.

I'm getting Kate Rorick's Little Wonder.

Oh poo, no book for me this time. But, there are a couple chapters in the sampler I got last time so I can check that out at least.

I didn't get anything this month, but there was only one I requested, so that's OK. Hopefully more will catch my eye when the new batch comes out.

Kind of excited that I got Gargantis, the sequel to Malamander. It’s so funny that almost all my wins are kidlit, but they’ve been great titles. Thank you, LT!
