Please help me with the title or author of this book

All I can remember is that the hero was scarred and he fell on love with the heroine who loves flowers and she created a flower garden of roses especially by the window. But towards the end of the book she was kidnapped but the hero thought she tan away and destroyed all the roses she planted and refused to go find her cos she has run away before. She left a note which she signed in a strange way, it was when either her brother or childhood friend came and saw the letter that he realised she was kidnapped and they went to look for her.
