Virago Secret Santa 2019: Countdown and Arrivals

Have you received something interesting in the post?

Do say, because after you've you've shopped and packaged and posted your gift all you want to know is that it reached its destination safely.

But please don't say who you think sent it - there will be a 'Virago Secret Santa: Opening' thread for that.

I have two packages to report - one seems to hold a book and the other seems to hold something softer.

My parcel arrived last Tuesday.
Will be keeping it safe till Christmas.

My VSS has arrived! It's said it's OK to open but because we have new pussycats in the house, I'm leaving it in its box until nearer to Christmas Day. And as usual, I'll be opening it on Christmas Day, but this time we have the whole day at home just us, so it might be a bit later than usual.

I'm glad I brought in a Christmas tree already because I now have a gorgeous pile of beautiful parcels resting underneath it! Thank you Santa!

I have a third package, from the Book Depository this time. Thank you, my very generous Santa!

They have been hidden away until Christmas day, when I definitely will be reporting back more promptly.

Through various interesting means a lovely parcel has arrived with me. I think I probably know who you are Santa, thank you very much. I will save it for Christmas day.

A lovely package arrived for me over the weekend, marked VSS safe to open! Inside is a bumpy and interesting-feeling parcel which I have stashed under the tree for later - thank you Santa, whoever you are! (I have no idea....) :D

More post has arrived here! I have received an envelope from Persephone but I had the latest magazine a little while back so I suspect this may be something to do with VSS! Thank you Santa! 😁

I think that makes just me waiting for a parcel - BUT I have a Parcel Force note through the door today saying a package will be redelivered tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

Third time lucky with parcel force, and my not-so-secret Santa has sent me SIX beautifully wrapped presents!! Thank you!

I have just collected a parcel from the post office, and I have an envelope marked VSS too.

I think that - possibly for the first time ever - everybody has a gift at the start of the opening season.
