>1 Heather39: That's pretty darn fast! I had that happen once though I forget the publication house. Also with the postcard asking for a review, which I end email to them. I think it might have been Tundra press.

Question from a first-time early reviewer: I understand that books may take a long time to arrive, but would you expect this with ebooks? I took it for granted that it would be a few days, since it's only a case of sending by email. Thanks :)

>3 mmSeason: In my experience, e-books are usually pretty speedy, but this is not true for every publisher. A few just take their time.

Also, I have had several e-books that never arrived. Since those particular books were received and reviewed by others in the Early Reviewers group, I presume that my ISP filtered them out due to the nature of the attachments. (They didn't even make it to the spam folders.) It's getting more and more difficult to get attachments through security filters due to virus spreading. Many publishers are not even sending attachments anymore, but sending links to places to download the books.

So, I guess my advice would be to wait a little while, keep checking your spam folder just in case, and check periodically to see if anyone has reviewed the book yet.

Thanks, tealadytoo, I'll sit tight then.
