Do you suspect Ian Kane ?

I think he's an awful man but I don't suspect him of killing all the women. I think he wouldn't have had the murder covered up by a fire - if it wasn't public, how would he intimidate his remaining women with "what would happen if they ran away"?

I agree with >2 bhabeck:. He seems to hate women but the killer is someone who has a reason to want Rachel dead. They are just commodities to Ian Kane.

No. Rose was worth £200 to Kane alive. If he'd known where she was he'd have had her brought back and 'sold' her to O'Brian.
Besides, Rose said "They've found me," which leads me to believe she was being hunted by a group of men (her abusers?). I think if she was only afraid of Kane she'd have said "He's found me". Just my opinion.

He's a creep and a blowhard but no...he's also a coward. He didn't kill anyone. I agree with >4 Sergeirocks: about Rose being worth a lot more to him alive than dead.

I agree with >4 Sergeirocks: that it must be a group after her and not a single person. Also she was worth more money to Ian alive.

He’s still a suspect to me. Kane is ruthless and there could be something more going on with him than we know yet. But >4 Sergeirocks: could be right - good theory.
