I just joined this group (and LibraryThing) today. I notice the latest date in this group is July, 2018. Is it dead?

It's been a little quiet lately but we're still here. I've been busy watching the RootsTech live-stream and learning how to use DNA painter and GEDmatch. So many new things to learn.
Am I guessing correctly that Dietz is one of your family lines? I have a Dietz family line in Pennsylvania.

Yes we're still around. Probably all playing over on the Ancestry site. There are loads of Dietz in NC.

I think a lot of us discuss genealogy over in the 75-book group and/or Category Challenge.

I haven't been working on my tree lately, except when someone leaves a comment on something and that gets the bug going again for a little while at least. I did a pretty thorough job on all the main lines, so unless some bit of evidence pops up at a dead end, or someone adds an interesting photo or story, there isn't much to do.
