On https://www.librarything.com/author/booksfirefly there is a "There are links stranded" message, pointing to https://www.librarything.com/author/firefly&norefer=2. There don't appear to be any links on that page, and I think the message is referring to a link in the old author links section, but there's no way to get rid of it.
The message should only be checking for links in the new format, and should ignore any (now hidden) links in the old format.

>1 r.orrison: Good catch! Not a bug, exactly, but still something that needs finishing up for the newer Author Links feature. Thanks for reporting.

Here's another, copied the link to the new author page, and deleted the old link after separating the author then combining two of the separated bits. lol not sure how to say that. Anyway, the inactive link page is still showing as stranded maybe because the link is still there under history:

Bump with another example: https://www.librarything.com/author/brickellthenewbohemi
I do consider it a bug - the message on that page says "There are links stranded on: Edie Brickell & New Bohemians" but when you go to that page there are no stranded links.

I can confirm, I ran across around a dozen authors where even after you delete the link, the message persists

>7 MarthaJeanne: Yes, that looks like the same problem.
Bumping with another example:
On the author page for André Gide it says "There are links stranded on: Andre Paul Guillaume Gide". There are no visible stranded links on that page.

The same problem: "unreachable stranded links"

Another example: https://www.librarything.com/author/willgeorgef
(probably because I combined a formerly-split author with another split author)

Okay. But fixed. Most are gone because they were untrue. A few remain, e.g.,

I should add a link to move everything over from the subordinate name.
