These are all books I've heard talked about recently which seem to have an 'air of Women's Prize' about them:
A Place for Us by Fatima Farheen Mirza
Washington Black by Esi Edugyan
The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker (though might be a bit of a slight to previous winner Madeline Miller to chose this and not Circe).
Women Talking by Miriam Toews
The Water Cure by Sophie Mackintosh
The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai
I'd also love to see Milkman there, even though it's already had its glory through the Booker prize.
