Like the Subject says, these are some titles on my shelves that I have yet to read.
1. Spycatcher by Peter Wright
2. The Human Factor by Graham Greene
3 and 4. Spy Hook and Spy Line by Len Deighton
5. The Debriefing by Robert Littell
6. Casino Royale by Ian Fleming
7, 8, and 9. The Mammoth Book of Spy Thrillers, which contains The Great Impersonation by E. Phillips Oppenheim, The Naked Runner by Francis Clifford, and The Heights of Rimring by Duff Hart-Davis
This just a sample. I also have four of Adam Hall's Quiller novels--The Striker Portfolio, The Warsaw Document, The Tango Briefing, and The Mandarin Cypher--and plan to read those within my lifetime, too.
Many of these have been mentioned in other threads, but in the interests of keeping our little group active, I have decided to list them here. In so doing, perhaps I might be nudged to bring them closer the head of the queue of unread books that I'm sure many of us have.
And when I've done that? I'll have to look into buying other books that have caught my eye: Brandenburg by Henry Porter, The Company of Strangers by Robert Wilson, and the novels of Charles Cumming, Stella Rimington, and Helen MacInnes.
(Speaking of that last one, would Agent in Place be a good place to start?)

With MacInnes you can divide into WWII, Early Cold War, and Later Cold War. I am not sure where I draw the line between the latter two, but some of the later ones I think are not quite up to snuff or rather are a bit overwrought. I think Agent in Place is one of the later ones and I would generally recommend starting with an earlier one.

I got two new "spy" books this week Into the Volcano by Forrest Devoe Jr. and Disorderly Elements by Bob Cook. Has anybody read either of these?

I've read Disorderly Elements. It's a bit light, but still entertaining. I like it better than the other one, Paper Chase.
I picked up some Charles McCarry recently and quite like 'im. Got enough on my plate at the moment, but I'll definitely be tracking down some more of his stuff.

For non-fiction you should put Legacy of Ashes by Tim Weiner on your list. Excellent history of the CIA.

I've only read Charles McCarry's The Miernik Dossier, which I found rather interesting. I've yet to catch up on his other--some say better--works following the career of the Paul Christopher character.
