Any thoughts on events?

I'm suspicious of Corey that he's not fully on the side of truth as he says. He may be involved in something bad. I'm even a little suspicious of Maya and wondering if she is an unreliable narrator. She's made comments to herself throughout the story that make it sound like she's hiding something besides what happened in Syria. Adding Theo's death and Douglass's death to the mix makes things more complicated and interesting but I have no idea how it's all related.

I'm beginning to suspect Maya may have something more to do with these deaths.

I don't have any real idea but I'm really enjoying the story.
