How do you explain a dead man being in the video?

As I said in the last question, if her husband is really dead, then it was someone looking like him that was brought in to mess with Maya

Absolutely no idea on this one.
Rather threatening that he looked directly at the camera...

I don't remember that the video really showed his face - maybe I missed that? If for some reason Maya didn't identify her husband's body but someone else did, then he could be alive and there's some coverup operation going on here but I don't know why. Otherwise, it's what >2 bhabeck: said.

I think Maya’s husband is not dead.

Some cover up going on. This is the master of twists, so I think her husband is alive. Not sure at all what is going on though.

The husband is alive. What we need to find out is why the ruse? And was Maya involved in the ruse? >9 Jen_Bartels: Coben and others of his ilk would definitely reveal 1 twist this early especially if there is a bigger reveal looming.
