Did you have any initial thoughts who the man in the forest green shirt in the video was?

if her husband is really dead, then it's someone that was brought in to disconcert Maya and make it seem that she's losing her mind (to discredit her? to drive her mad?)

My immediate thoughts were a) husband, b) the bloke with the whistle-blowing website.

I first thought it was her husband Joe and perhaps he really isn't dead. If not him, then it has to be someone who looks similar and that Lily knows because she went right to him and called him Daddy when Maya showed her the video.

I feel like her husband isn't dead but don't know how this could be possible.

I think her husband is not dead too.

Something told me straight away it was going to be the husband.

My first thought was the Whistleblower website guy until it showed Lily recognizing the man, she'd never known him most likely. Then I thought it might be Joe, but that seemed kind of far fetched...but sure enough? It's either he's really alive (what? why?) or he's similar enough that it fooled the kid and someone is really messing with Maya, which would just be too cruel!

Immediately I knew it was the husband. Maybe I've read too many of these novels but especially given Lily's reaction there was no doubt in my mind
