Virago Secret Santa: Countdown and Arrivals

I hope the elves don't mind me creating this thread, because I received an unexpected parcel in the mail today! For the time being, I will tuck it away in a safe place.

A parcel is on it's way to my VSS via BookDepository. I've added the words 'Virago Secret Santa' in the address line for recognition. Now - nothing is wrapped on the inside so you'll just have to cosy up with a big brown box - but ohhhh, it's full of goodness! 💝🎁🌲

Just a heads up to my lovely VSS, your big brown box (from BookDepository) will be actually arriving in several smaller packages - each clearly marked 'Virago Secret Santa'. Lots of boxes to open on the day! Even more fun! xxx

My shipment was also sent to my VSS from Book Depository, in two separate shipments. I am not as clever as bleuroses, so didn't think to add "code words" to the address. Hopefully the brown boxes are tucked away or under the tree to be opened later.

My recipient is free to open their brown box when they wish as the contents are individually wrapped :-)

Woo-hoo! I received a lovely package yesterday; I heard from one of Santa's elves that I could open it and have put aside several lovely wrapped packages aside for when we finally get our tree up!

I just received an intriguing looking package from Book Depository, which I assume is from one of you. I've set it aside unopened, thank you!

FOUR parcels have come for me from Book Depository, removed from my keeping and put aside by my husband. Thank you, Santa!

Dear Santee - I will be sending one package by hand and one via the internet, and the latter might not get there for a while because it's coming from a different country! But I just really wanted you to have it. So... multiple Christmases for you!

I've received a parcel containing three separately wrapped books(?). I think it must be from my Virago Secret Santa as that is the only one I'm taking part in this year!

A lovely Virago box has arrived!!

Unless BookDepository have decided to send unordered books to random people my lovely VSS just sent me a second package. I'll leave it unopened so I won't know for sure until Christmas...

The parcel for my santee has been dispatched. Outside has rather a lot of tape (apologies) and inner contents are wrapped. 😊

I received an unexpected parcel, so the Man of the House inspected it, told me it contained wrapped books, and confiscated it until Christmas.

Very excited to report that a large and sturdy parcel has arrived here today! It was labelled VSS safe to open and so I have and it contained five beautifully wrapped parcels!

From a faraway and enchanted land, from across the shimmering pond, a wonderful package was delivered today! It overflows with beauty and abundance and a secret to be revealed. All carefully placed beneath the tree, I await with patience, our opening day. Thank you, oh thank you dear Santa! Of whom I'm still in wonder! 🎄🎁✨♥️

And then there was one! Wouldn't it be lovely of this was one of those rare years where the postal services of the world get things right and everyone has their gift before the opening season begins?
