Question on posting reviews at LibraryThing?

Hi all! I joined LibraryThing a few months ago, but haven't done anything here until this weekend, so technically I am still very new at this.

I imported a number of books today into my library, and posted reviews on a few of them. The reviews saved, I can see them in my own library, but when I view my profile and click reviews, they don't show. Also, if I look at the book's page, the reviews don't show.

Is there a delay in when reviews post at LibraryThing? Or am I just doing something wrong... LOL

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I can see them now too... I guess it just takes a few hours to load them?

Anyway, so far so good, and I think I am going to like LibraryThing. I just have a few thousand more books to load... I have them all in a spreadsheet, but of course when I started that years ago, I never anticipated why I might need the ISBN on it, so guess what column is missing?

I ordered the CueCat scanner, and I also found a handy tool at https://isbndb.com/ that lets you create a search string for a book's details using an http address. The details are returned in XML and have the ISBN easy to grab, so I am going to see if it will be easier to use that or the scanner. At $15, the scanner will be handy, regardless of whether I use it for the catch-up project.

I did the same thing; never thought I'd need to track the ISBN. Slowly slowly making up the lack!
