Hello,
I've always loved philosophy and believe that writing, analytical, and critical thinking skills developed by studying philosophy prepares a student for success in any career he or she may choose.
Recently I've written a short book (110 pg) on philosophy called "Understanding Our Cosmos - The Philosophical Way".This book makes a realistic endeavor to expound the cosmos and its functioning from a philosophical and metaphysical angle. This is my first book and I'm very proud of my very first endeavor.
Check this book in the ongoing LT giveaway. Understanding Our Cosmos -The Philosophical Way by Bhaktee Kale Also available on Kindle Unlimited Please take a look and do share your invaluable feedback with me.
-- Also please do suggest other short insightful books on Philosophy --

2bacchus.
Congratulations on your first book!
I'm sure everyone has their own take on things but for me the A-Z book on life philosophy is The Saviors of God (Greek and Latin: Ασκητική. Salvatores dei) From Nikos Kazantzakis. I'm Greek so I'm not sure how well this is translated into other languages but it's a powerful short book (less than 100 pages)

I add my congratulations and wish you well. I'll try to find the LT listing and some reviews.

Can anyone explain why LT recognizes the book Understanding our Cosmos, but when using the search in Add a book, the book can't be found? I will add it manually, but wonder whether the Overcat search can't include the LT data base?

I would recommend...
What Does It All Mean? A Very Short Introduction to Philosophy by Thomas Nagel.
I'm surprised that someone who has written a book on Philosophy, need ask for recommendations of books on Philosophy. ;-)
