Anyone using LT/TC for Retirement Community Libraries?

I live at a Florida retirement community which has a nice-sized library, and a volunteer staff, but it is not computerized. I've been busy learning LT/TC and building a catalog for our library. I was wondering if there were any retirement communities with libraries using LibraryThing? I could use some advice on how to demonstrate, and persuade our volunteers, that using LT/TC will help our library. There's no budget, but community support is strong.
