What did you make of Sebastian’s interaction with the Bow Street Runners? Was Sebastian justified in what he did?

I think he may have been a bit rough with them (breaking a nose was not a good idea), but the Runners should perhaps have been more diplomatic and restrained both men in the first instance. The man being chased might have been a killer or a thief, so the Runners should have taken both into custody.

I was a bit surprised that he hit them. I thought that the Runners were official police (but I'm not sure of that). So I thought he might get arrested. But the Runners should've held on to both men so I understand why Sebastian was mad.

I agree with Sergei and Gayle that the runners should have restrained both men.

>3 gaylebutz: Founded in 1749, disbanded in 1839, the 'Bow Street Runners' are recognised as the first professionally organised police force in Britain.
