What did you think of the way the Regent acted?

I thought he acted suspiciously - lying and suddenly overcome with lightheadedness so he could leave. There's more to the murder than we currently know...and more to the Regent

I think you mean how he acted toward Guin, being so aggressive and not taking no for an answer (is that right?). I was a bit surprised to hear that he could be that aggressive. It made me think he could be capable of murder.

I think he just expects the women to fall all over him because he is a King. I still don't think he's capable of murder. I think he is more interested in getting drunk.

I don't think he would dirty has hands with murder or the amount of work that went into carrying this one out...but he might get someone to do it for him. After all he IS the King.
