I'm still waiting on The Art of Misdiagnosis from the September 2017 batch and Writing for Bliss from the October 2017 batch.

From the October batch, I still haven't received Gate Keeper by Charles Todd.
5chazzard
I'm still waiting for I'll be your Blue Sky by Marisa de los Santos, from this summer (think it was August).

I have also not yet received The Gate Keeper by Charles Todd. Really hoping this one comes through — I've read every book in this series.

I’m also waiting for I’ll be your Blue Sky by Marisa de los Santos. Thanks! (From August)

Waiting for: Jam Today: A Diary of Cooking with what You've Got by Tod Davies (October, 2017)
Also: The Gate Keeper, looks like I'm in good company on that one.
I've never had this problem before, so haven't paid close attention to the protocol. Am I supposed to email LT? I actually sent 2 emails, but neither one was answered, possibly due to holiday madness. I hate to be a pest, and I know that LT has no control over when/if books are sent.

>8 MrsLee: I think the main thing is to mark the books as Not Received when that option becomes available on the Books You've Won page. I think (but am happy to be corrected if I'm wrong) that that is the main data source LT uses to know which publishers to poke and when.
I'm also waiting for The Gate Keeper. I was so excited about winning that one, too ...

>12 Barbaralois: You aren't supposed to do that though, this is done through the ER program and you're not meant to go individually contacting them, Loranne is the contact.
14quaintlittlehead
I contacted a publisher a couple of years ago who said that they had been e-mailing and e-mailing Loranne and had gotten no response. By my e-mailing them, and then e-mailing Loranne what they reported back to me, she discovered that all their messages had been going to her spam folder, and then was able to resolve the issue. So I say there's no reason not to contact the publisher yourself.
15ArtVanDelay1774
I never recieved The Planets by Nirmala Nataraj and Photographs by NASA. This was from the November 2017 batch. It's now February; I've never had a book take this long to come :-(
16MrsLee
>15 ArtVanDelay1774: Well, I haven't received any books since October, nor any response from my queries to staff, so I'm not sure what's up. Oh well, free books lost are probably not high on the radar.
17lorannen
Sorry for the delays, folks. I've been out sick a lot recently (on the mend now, finally), and have some catching up to do (both in terms of following up with publishers, and replying to emails). Thanks for your patience!

I'm waiting on Ars Historica (Marie Brennan) from the November 2017 batch.
29Tatoosh
I was selected to receive Price of Duty by Dale Brown in April 2017 but still have not received it. After all this time the concept of an "early reviewer" ceases to make sense. However, I note that only one review of this book appears on LT and that was written by a writer who received the book through GoodReads. It appears that the publisher or whoever was responsible for distributing the book to LT members botched the job.
30LizzieD
I'm still waiting for The Mad Patagonian from October, I think, but I don't believe it's been published. At least, I can't find it on Amazon.
31cebellol
Still no word on An Army of One by Tony Schumacher (July 2017 batch). I don't even care which address it gets sent to at this point, the address I originally won it at, or my current address. I'd just like to read it. My mother still lives at the other address, so it's not like I wouldn't be able to get the book.
32MrsLee
>30 LizzieD: I see that my book from October is not on Amazon, either. Were publishers just exceedingly hopeful that month, or deceptive about how many books they had in the works? We may never know. :(
The Gate Keeper, I believe a November book? Wasn't on Amazon until early February, but still no book here. Perhaps the publishers decided early reviews were not necessary after all.
I think I will un-enroll in the ER program for awhile. These disappointments, one after the other, with no response or answers is discouraging. As I recall, there is no way to remove the book from our request record, and a non-review is not good, perhaps not fatal, but not good. Also, I am very busy, have many books on my shelves to read, and not as eager to review anymore, and others will benefit by my not requesting. Guess I will wait a couple more months though, in case some of the ones I have "won" and not received arrive.

I just received my copy of The Flicker of Old Dreams today so hopefully you'll get yours soon.

I just marked Noir from the December batch unreceived. I really hope it shows up because Christopher Moore is one of my favorite authors.
Also, what's the procedure if a book arrives damaged? The CD audiobook of The Outcasts of Time I won in January arrived scratched and won't play. I've messaged lorannen but haven't heard back from her.

Like so many others, I haven't received The Gate Keeper (Charles Todd) from October 2017 batch. I really think the folks at Library Thing should investigate and let those who were promised the book know what is going on. I have posted to "lorannen" several times, but no reply. Also never received my July 2017 selection of Soundscapes by Paul Robertson. Kind of discouraging!

Sorry for the delay - Peter Damian Bellis, Publisher, River Boat Books

Peter is a stand-up guy. Thanks for the update.
This is the first time I have seen a publisher or author provide a response when a member posts a note that an awarded book did not arrive. It would be easy for publishers to assign a staff member to monitor this and similar sites and provide information. Personally, I purchase books that I requested but was not marked to receive. I don't request a book unless I have a genuine interest. However, I refuse to do so when publishers fail to follow through on their commitment.

>49 Tatoosh: Thanks Tatoosh. I think one of the problems with major commercial publishing houses is that they often lose sight of the fact that they are in the relationship building business, meaning they are helping to build relationships between books and authors and potential readers. This kind focus used to be much more a part of common practice, but in an age in which books have become more and more commodities, the personal touch has all but vanished. The focus of our press is to re-establish what I feel is a scared connection between readers and books. We believe that books are properly sacred objects, and while ever reader will certainly have a different group of books as sacred objects, all books must be sacred to someone or they have no value at all. All my best - PDB

I know I've seen the answer to this question somewhere, but I can't locate it so sorry for being redundant:
If I purchase a copy of a book that I won but have not yet received, and add it to my catalog, is that going to mess up the "I have not yet received this book" marker?
What if I post a review of my purchased copy?
Thanks!

66Taphophile13
>65 norabelle414: If you catalog and review the book, it will show up as part of the ER program and the "did not receive" notice will disappear. I did this once but prefaced my review to say I had never received the book and got a copy elsewhere. I didn't want other winners of that title to think they had somehow not received their copy while other people got theirs. My review does have the ER bird attached.
67rosalita
I recently borrowed The Gate Keeper from the library after having won it and not received it. But I'm not posting my review because I don't want it to get the Early Reviewers tag, because that would imply that I received the book I was promised and I didn't. Just cataloguing it without also reviewing it did not remove the "I haven't received this book" marker.

Did you ever find out why Charles Todd's October book, The Gate Keeper, didn't ship? I would still like to have it. Am wondering if contacting the publisher directly would help. I know you've mentioned before that's not the way to go, but this book is LONG overdue.

I never received the following books:
How to Break the Seven Rules of Women Who Stay Fat from October 2016
Awkward: The Science of Why We're Socially Awkward and Why That's Awesome from March 2017
Soundscapes from July 2017
Everything Happens for a Reason from March 2018
I agree with >32 MrsLee: MrsLee that the quality of this program recently is disappointing. From 2008 to 2016, I only had one book that took over a year to receive, and I did finally get it. Now, in just the past nineteen months, I'm waiting on four. Yes, the books are free, so there are probably some members who will criticize me for complaining at all. But I did pay for my LibraryThing account, and I've convinced quite a few other people to pay for LibraryThing accounts with the opportunity to win free books being a big selling point for a lot of them. It's frustrating to constantly wonder before you go out of town whether that book you'd given up on is finally going to show up in your mail, and I live in one of the Texas towns that recently had a package bomb explode, so it was a little bit scary to not be able to tell my family for sure whether I was expecting any packages, or how many. I also try to plan what I'm going to read next based on whether I'm expecting to have to review a book, and I've given up on being able to do that. At the very least, I would have expected someone at LibraryThing to respond to one of my multiple posts over the last year and a half. That's an awfully long time to get ghosted. I'm very sorry if lorannen has been sick, but if it was a long-term illness, somebody else should have taken over the duties of looking after this program.

The March batch is not late yet, since it's been barely a month since winners were picked. I totally understand the frustration of not getting books you've won, but please remember that LibraryThing is not responsible for that. It would be great if they responded directly to your posts, yes, but they have nothing to do with when those books get sent out. They can't force publishers to send books, though they can and do send them reminders and trying to find out what's going on.

I have not received Everything Happens for a Reason (Feb. 2018), Surviving Hitler: Journey of a German Girl (Oct. 2017), and The Daughters of Ireland (May 2017). There are some older ones (1 from 2014, 2 from 2013, and 1 from 2012) that I obviously won't list here. I've been happy to be a part of Early Reviewers, and while I miss the books I don't get, I'm happy to get the ones I do! I don't care how late they are - send 'em on!
102SandyAMcPherson
My take on unreceived books (and perhaps LT-member exasperation) is the lack of information about delays. Publishers want to send out books for the publicity of early reviews, I would guess. Simple courtesy by way of a brief message to the LT staff about the progress in the long delays such as 'quaintlittlehead' listed (#97) is an entirely reasonable expectation. One wonders if these delays of books offered for Early Review on LT have already been satisfactorily covered by other reviewers (via Goodreads, Amazon, etc.). I've seen several of the books on offer here already covered elsewhere. Just a thought...
103lorannen
All righty, now that the May batch is up and away, I'm on to sending out reminders to our delinquent publishers. I'll post here once I receive updates.
Some of the difficulty with letting us know about delays is that there are often multiple staff members at the larger publishing houses who touch each ER offering, and info like that can get lost in the shuffle, as I understand it. One day, I imagine having a button publishers can click to indicate that books have been shipped. It's a ways off (given our staff size and other projects in the balance), but a girl can dream.

Hello all,
Some of the books we send out to reviewers end up unclaimed at the destination address, for reasons unknown, and are then returned to us by the postal service after a month or two. These then get marked as 'unreceived' even though we did send them. I have emailed LT about this, asking whether the postal addresses were correct in the first place, but maybe my emails go to the spam folder.
All the best,

Perhaps the name of the group should be changed to Books For Review. I somehow feel that when you receive, or still haven't received, a book when it is available at your library, "early" doesn't quite fit the bill.
If the program was begun so that publishers could have early readers feedback before the book was released, that can't be the case any more.
Even though I can't mark it as 'unreceived' until the 25th of the month, I am currently speaking about Anne Perry's book, Twenty-One Days. But this lateness isn't unique to her book. It is happening more and more. I have checked the book out from the library because I am anxious to read it, but I will not review it until, and unless it comes. That I think is fair.
Perhaps it won't seem fair to someone who writes three lines - it was a really good book, it kept me reading. - but writing a decent review, even a short one, takes time. I feel my time is valuable, and while I want to contribute to the wealth of LT, which I love, this isn't the only way to do that.
Writing an Early Review, especially after it is on bookstore and library shelves, is helping the publisher create 'buzz' (ie more sales). That's what we do for them. What they should do for us, is send the books out promptly.
Sorry for the rant. But finding a book I've been eagerly awaiting at the library set me off.
I appreciate your recent activity in chasing down our missing books, Lorannen, (I'm still waiting my October selection) but sometimes months go by without a word from you. I appreciate the fact that you are a volunteer, and I hate it when people bash volunteers, but maybe a post once a month to let us know you're still at it, would be good.
I'm going to go have some coffee. By the time I've finished, I'll regret ranting...

Any word on An Army of One by Tony Schumacher (July 2017 batch)

I never received The Comedown by Rebekah Frumkin from January. I'm not sure if the only thing to do about not receiving a book is posting here? But I read the FAQs and that seems about it.

I’m waiting on A Nantucket Wedding by Nancy Thayer from the March batch. Noting here simply for others that may not have received their copies yet. I do see a couple of reviews posted from members so either they received their copies or read library versions. This is honestly this first book I’ve had late/missing. I enjoy this program, review books when they arrive. If they don’t it’s not my responsibility and I don’t loose sleep (other then notifying). If there’s a title I’m dying for I’ve almost always placed a hold at the library as a backup, or I’ll purchase it myself. Reading is one of the great joys in my life and the moment something associated with it no longer brings me joy...well, what’s the point? Thanks to all here at LT, the ER program, and the publishers who participate.

I just returned from a long trip without email access so I am late in thanking Pete for explaining why some books are not received. Brief notes like that are very helpful.
120Tatoosh
I agree. I appreciate the free books I receive from publishers and — although not required — feel a personal obligation to provide an honest review in exchange. However, if a "promised" copy is not forthcoming I am more reluctant to provide a review. Preparing a review does take s significant amount of time as I tend to write fairly detailed reviews of the books I receive.

Finally received the book that I won in Feb. thanks to my contacting the author's publicist.

>121 sweetbabyjane58: I'm glad your book turned up! I'm sorry it took extra effort on your part for that to happen. I haven't yet heard back from the publisher of that one, but I'll try again in case anyone else is still missing their copy.

Any word on "Motherhood" by Sheila Heti or "Left Bank" by Agnes Porter? Both have now been published. (And the touchstones misdirect to the wrong book, at least sometimes.) From January and December, respectively.

Thank you, lorannen. I realize that my post wasn’t clear (hazard of the Internet). I’ve got a library request in just in case. For me this is an outlier and it may still appear! Thank you for all your assistance and hard work.

I haven’t received books from December (The Parking Lot Attendant), January (The Comedown), or February (Everything Happens for a Reason). Waiting on April — too soon to tell. I’ve had a few undeceived volumes in the past, but this is unprecedented.
(I have checked that my address is correct, and I don’t have a problem with other mail.)
While my nose isn’t out of joint, I thought I’d mention it.

Just marked Twenty-One Days by Anne Perry from March as AWOL. Would still like the opportunity to review; I believe I've seen others mention it as missing also; and thank you kindly. Keeping up with the stragglers is no doubt a monumental task!

I did my first Early Reviewers review in Nov. 2007. I have had 8 books in all that I haven't received over the years, but 4 of those have been in the past year; 2 of those are in 2018. These numbers would indicate that this is increasing. I will add, however, that I am very grateful for what I do receive and appreciate the program so much. I do like seeing when others haven't received books that I am missing, so it's important to post those. That lets me know it's not just my local post office!

BHC press (publisher) sent me the following message:
Your Requested LibraryThing Early Reviewers Ebook Is Here!
We sincerely apologize for the delay in sending BACKPACKING MY STYLE by Cristina Grau.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the release date had to be adjusted, which caused an interruption
in production.
As a thank you for your patience, we are sending a retail quality ebook as well as a free retail quality
download of the Agatha Christie classic, 'The Mysterious Affair at Styles'.
Wasn't that great! I hope the other Early Reviewers who won this book also received this message.

I haven't received Motherhood:A Novel either. (Sheila Heti). Or Left Bank either. I have posted about these a couple of times, and unless I have missed it, there has been no response. I realize I am looking a gift horse in the mouth, but it is frustrating not to have any idea if the publishers have been contacted, if there is any prospect of the books coming, etc. Both books are well past publication date.

I won Blood Will Out by Jo Treggiari (published by Penguin Teen), from the May 2018 batch; well today I received in the mail from Penguin Random House, Blood Will Out by Walter Kirn. They obviously sent the wrong book.
Did this happen to anyone else? And is there anyone to contact about this?

This happened to me some time ago but the book I received was totally different than the one I requested: different title, different author. I inquired about what to do but got no response. After a couple of attempts without receiving a response, I searched through the Unreceived Books messages and found a person who had requested the book I received and had not received her copy. I contacted her for her postal address and mailed the book to her. If I had been unable to find a LibraryThing member who had requested the book I planned to donate it to the Friends of ... my local library.
150EmpressReece
Hi Taphophile13 and Tatoosh,
I posted a message to her earlier today- just waiting on a response. I thought about just returning the book back to sender with a note that I received the wrong book and hope that they resend correct book- but the address doesn't have a name on it just Spring GDS & a p.o. box. I guess someone would still receive it.

I have still not received my approved requests for January, February or March 2018. My address did not change and I had been receiving all approved books before. The publishers seems to be using this technique now to gain free publicity and attention for their phantom books. I did show these as not received on the Library Thing site. I see that I am by far not alone.

I have four that I've never received, though one is so old now I have no hope at all.
June 2017 – Open Books - The Irrationalist: The Tragic Murder of René Descartes by Andrew Pessin
February 2018 – Tule Publishing - Valentine’s at the Graff by Sinclair Jayne
March 2018 – Kazabo Publishing - The Adventures of Dagobert Trostler, Vienna’s Sherlock Holmes by Balduin Groller
May 2018 – Kazabo Publishing - The Man in the Cellar by Palle Rosenkrantz
They are all e-books, which at least in my experience, are more prone to issues than physical books.

I think I've pointed this out once before, somewhen along the way...
I never received Awkward: The Science of Why We're Socially Awkward and Why That's Awesome by Ty Tashiro, won from the March 2017 batch.
I've been revisiting the "Books You've Won" page every few weeks to update it as unreceived, but it seems kinda silly to keep doing that ad infinitum.
If there's a way to scare the publisher into finally sending this out, that'd be fine, but, given that it's a free book lottery from over a year ago, I'm okay if it never shows up. What bothers me is that the "Books You've Won" page still sits there reminding me that I haven't reviewed it, and now also tells me that "Future batches of LTER books may take your number of reviewed and unreviewed books into account." So...
Is there some sort of option to just give up and remove it from my "won" list? Or...?

I never received Price of Duty by Dale Brown (April 2017 batch). I finally ordered it on-line. To date, knock on wood, it is the only book I haven't received.
I still wonder if publishers could e-mail a tracking # to us so that we could keep an eye on it for those of us who receive hard copies.
Of course, I have had the USPS return mail if they could not read the entire address. Also it might help to add " carrier leave at door" or similar as line 2 of your address. That has helped me with many items from various sources when the carrier did not feel my front door was "secure."

Does anybody have any word on Chocolate Brown Satin Hot Pants And Other Artifacts by Bernadette Karpa from the May 2018 batch?
It has not yet shown up in my mailbox. Hope maybe lorannen or someone might have info about if it will be coming soon.... or not??

missing two books. One from July. Not worried about the Sept one yet.
Have not received this from the July batch: The Missing Ingredient: The Curious Role of Time in Food and Flavor by Jenny Linford The Overlook Press; 1 edition (September 18, 2018).
did anyone else request that and receive it? Not sure I want to sign up for more and then have both of these hit my inbox.

I haven't received Marilla of Green Gables by Sarah McCoy from the August batch. The dearth of reviews for it makes me think I'm not the only one still waiting on it. I was thrilled to win this one and excited to read it, so I hope it comes.
225Meganleigh844
I haven't received it either.
226Well-ReadNeck
I'm still missing two. Madame Zero from the June Batch. I saw quite a few Early Reviewers reviews on the book, so I'm guessing its just me? That one is really late, so I doubt it's headed my way. But, just a couple of months later, I'm still missing American Pop from September, too. That one is not actually late until next month, but I usually get books within a couple of weeks and the reviews are trickling in for that one, too.
227norabelle414
>226 Well-ReadNeck: Madame Zero has been offered in LTER twice, so it is possible that all the early reviews on that book are from the previous time it was offered, not in June.

For those that have been members for a long time. What is he furthest out from winning a book in the Early Reviewers that you have received a winning book.
I won “A Phone Call with a Fish” from the July batch and haven’t received it. I marked it non received but is curious what others experiences have been. Others who won the book have posted their reviews so they apparently go theirs no problem.

The longest it has taken me to receive a book was nearly 60 days, though most come under 30 days.
Several I have not received at all, despite others having received them. All those cases were e-books, and although they did not go to my spam folder, I do suspect that my ISP deleted them before they even got that far as having "suspicious attachments". So I just made a note of that and don't request books from those publishers anymore, as their delivery system is probably incompatible with my ISP.

>222 lorannen: I join the several folks above who have not received Marilla of Green Gables by Sarah McCoy from the August batch. I wrote to Lorannen at her email too. Hope this helps. lorannen Just wondering what happens once we report something as not received. I know it doesn't count against us for not reviewing it, but is that the end of it? Or is there a way we can contact the publisher about it? I'm still hoping to receive Marilla of Green Gables and would be willing to send a message to the appropriate person but wasn't sure what the process is or if there even is one. Sorry, I checked the FAQs but didn't see an answer. Thank you.

I just joined at the end of June and didn't discover the Early Reviewers section till July. I have requested some books in each batch since. I won a book in July, August, October and November.
I have received all of them except for the one from the July batch.
"Phone Call with a Fish" other members apparently received their copies as reviews were posted so I was just unlucky I guess. All my others have arrived with no problems. I am hoping for a win in this months batch!!

It would be nice to add a feature which let Lorannen or some other admin to flag a book as "not sent" after a certain number of months, if nobody received it. Another nice feature could be a pages with statistics about people who stated to have / have not received a book; in this way it would be easier to see if the problem is with the specific receiver or it is an issue with the publisher.

I never received Marilla of Green Gables by Sarah McCoy from the August 2018 batch. I bought it because I so wanted to read it, but I will not review it as I understand a review triggers the ER bird symbol to show up. If I ever receive my ER copy, then I'll be more than happy to review it.
Another ER book that never showed up was Chocolate Brown Satin Hot Pants And Other Artifacts by Bernadette Karpa from the May 2018 batch.
As disappointing as it is not to receive these, I have to say my track record is quite good … since 2008, only 2 unreceived out of 77 wins. And it was only in 2018 that I won the two ER books that never arrived. However, I must admit that I was formerly one of those folks who would contact publishers on my own when an ER book failed to show up after 3 or 4 months went by. I did it politely, and I only used email addresses I found on the publishers' websites which were designated for such things as review copies, etc. In every instance, I received a quick response and sent the missing ER book that I had won.
I no longer contact publishers on my own, out of respect for the ER rules. And that's okay … I'm good with it & don't want to upset any apple carts. But just gotta say -- back when I used to contact publishers on my own, well … I know it helped to improve my "books received" numbers prior to 2018.
All along, I've always considered ER one of the most enjoyable ways for me to be exposed to some recently or about-to-be published books & authors.
>247 .mau.: I agree that a feature showing stats of how many have received or not received a particular book would be helpful.

Not really complaining, since they're all free giveaways, but for awareness so that LT can talk to their disappointingly delinquent giveaway sponsors (whether or not these are already known cases):
Never arrived:
* Awkward: The Science of Why We're Socially Awkward and Why That's Awesome (March 2017 batch)
* The Regenerative Business: Redesign Work, Cultivate Human Potential, Achieve Extraordinary Outcomes (May 2018 batch)
* Atomic Habits (August 2018 batch)
To date: Won 12, received 9. Not so bad, even if each individual case of winning something that never shows up is a bit weirdly disappointing.

Things happen. Sometimes the people in charge of sending out the books leave their job. Sometimes things get lost in the mail. As a publisher I imagine mailing out individual free books that are not guaranteed a review is pretty low on their priority list of tasks. Sometimes a particular publisher is always bad about sending out books every time, and I think Loranne keeps track of that.

Sorry for the delay, folks. I spent this afternoon following up with delinquent publishers and am working on it!
I appreciate your patience. Marking a book as "not received" is all you need to do—that prompts me to contact the publisher.
As far as why this happens: my best guess is oversight and occasional turnover. That's why I keep track of books marked as not received, so we can make sure that books promised get sent out.
There are some improvements I'd like to make, but >266 norabelle414: is right, unfortunately, you can't mark a book as not received if it's also in your catalog at this time.

Hi Lorannen,
I just received the email with the download for this book. I really thought it was the print copy since I don't have a ereader or Kindle. I may be wrong and was in the wrong column when looking at the books. No big deal if it was the ecopy. Can you verify it if it was an ecopy? Thank you.

Why are publishers who have a track record of not sending out books still allowed to offer books through Early Reviewers? For example, at the top of this thread, I noted that I had not received The Art of Misdiagnosis from Beacon Press. I never did receive it (although I checked it out of a library and reviewed it), and it doesn't seem like other Early Reviewers did either. I recently marked another book Beacon Press book, When I Spoke in Tongues from the December batch as unreceived as well. It doesn't look like anyone else has received this book either. It would make sense to me that publishers that don't send books should be prohibited from posting in new batches, yet I see that Beacon Press has at least three books listed in the current (March, 2019) batch. Why is this publisher permitted to do this?

However I must say that my experience with Beacon Press has been excellent. I have won eleven of their books and all of them were sent promptly. I received my February win from them last week. I'm really surprised that yours didn't show up.

Well, this is now two months in a row I haven't received my ER win. Both for January and February of this year, have already marked them as non received. It stinks because they both looked like they were going to be great books.
I didn't receive the very first book I won back in July of last year, but all the others with wins in (Aug, Oct, Nov, and Dec) I received those.
I still am holding out some hope for the January one, and who knows maybe the February one just got hung up in the mail, but that July one from last year other ER reviewers got theirs so I guess I was just unlucky. The ones for this year a couple other members have the book but no reviews posted.

I'm also still waiting for Time After Time by Lisa Grunwald. I hope it's just delayed, I'm really looking forward to reading it.

Wandaly, glad I'm not the only one. I might contact the publisher. I found the author on Facebook and she can't do anything about it. She didn't come out and say it but sounds like she doesn't want to be involved. I really want to read it too.

i received the wrong book from the Jun 2019 batch. I won The Tiger Catcher by Paullina Simons. However, even though the Pack Note says Tiger Catcher, inside the box was a copy of La Otra Mujer by Daniel Silva. I believe it is a Spanish edition, and I do not read Spanish.

I never received the following two titles which I was notified I had been selected to receive - both were from the March 2019 batch:
The Path Keeper by N.J. Simmonds - This one has sone Early Reviewer reviews, so it would appear that some copies reached their destinations at some point.
Akela by Ryan Uytdewilligen - For some reason the touchstone on the title is linking to the wrong work, but if I make the author's name the touchstone it goes tot he correct one. This title has no reviews at all so I assume none of the Early Review copies were ever sent out?

I'm still waiting for Small Silent Things from the April batch.
Also, I never received The Best Kind of People from the Sept 2018 batch. Hope it's not counting against me. There has been a handful of books over the years that I've marked as 'not received' but have not reported them here.
