On the Add Books page, I can't Amazon UK Books to return anything. I get a "No results found" for anything and everything I search for. ("No results found for "harry potter"." for example.) It was working for me yesterday.

>1 saltmanz: Thanks for reporting. Confirmed—I'm seeing the same behavior. We'll get on it.

Further details: this is more widespread than just Amazon UK. The only Amazons currently working are Amazon.com, Amazon China, and Amazon Japan.

Jesus, what do I need to do to get them to actually read the forms? There's only so many times I can write executives at Amazon and ask them to intervene with some data-entry person who can't read.

Maybe this is a chance to figure out what it takes to get Overcat in a condition where it can be used by default for new users?

It's very much in progress. But not there yet.
Amazon India, France, Italy are now working. Canada, UK not working and we're perplexed. The others are in progress.
In other news: I spent the day filling out forms in languages I barely speak, or don't speak at all. Bad French and lots of Latin got me most. But it was nice having a Portuguese employee for the Brazilian site. And I'm going to need to use Google Translate on the Chinese!

It's now distinguishing between a search coming up empty and "failing."
At present, Brazil, Canada, Mexico are broken. All others are working, although China is failing intermittently.

Okay, Canada now working.
Mexico is going to require some paperwork.
Brazil is a problem--applying for a new account has a bug in it. I think the best we can do is report the bug and wait.

Mexico looks like it's going to require a Mexican bank account--an account with a CLABE number. We're asking our bank if there's some sort of mapping between account numbers, but it doesn't look good. We are not, I think, going to open up a Mexican bank-account just to turn on Amazon Mexico.
We're submitting a bug-report about Brazil…

Hi! Any news about this issue? anything on we can help? like a parser o similar?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I get the impression that FinTech might help here, if accounts are still the issue. Does Wise support peso accounts? That's a 30-minutes fix. :-)

Amazon UK works fine.
