Ainsley from Edible Woman

I have to write an eight page research paper contrasting or comparing two aspects from different novels by the same author. I quickly opted for Atwood, but I'm torn on what to do. I've read The Edible Woman, The Handmaid's Tale, Oryx and Crake, and am currently reading The Blind Assassin I'd be interested in exploring a parallel character or a contrast to Ainsley from The Edible Woman. Can anyone think of any similar or polar opposite characters from another Atwood novel? Thanks
