>1 puckers: So that's where the list went! I was looking for it a few months back and could not figure out where I had seen it previously.

Thanks for resurrecting it! :)

Excellent! I love to look back at these after I've finally read one of the books.

nice work... but I can't help thinking that a wiki page would be better designed for this kind of continually updated content.

>5 arukiyomi: The wiki technicalities are a bit beyond my abilities; I approach the new Progress index wiki with fear and trembling in the expectation that my few key strokes will wipe the whole thing out! I'm happy to maintain this thread for the foreseeable future and link it through to the nomination threads. Feel free to link the thread to the wiki if appropriate/helpful.

>6 puckers: I recognize that, I stopped updating my progress. I did it once and keep wondering whether I was responsible for its collapse.
So I am happy with this thread!

I did it once and keep wondering whether I was responsible for its collapse.

Me too! :-)

The list and links are now complete as far as I can tell. There have been 82 Group Reads to date (May 2017) and no repeats though Atwood, Eliot, Fowles, Garcia Marquez, Hugo, Murakami, Saramago and Woolf have had multiple books on the group reading list. Interestingly the most prolific authors on the Boxall list (Coetzee and Dickens) have had no books selected for a Group Read so far.

>1 puckers: Puckers, if you have a moment can you please update the first post? Or if there is a group member familiar with wiki, can a wiki list be created so that any of us can update it?

>11 ELiz_M: will do! I’d forgotten about this thread but it shouldn’t take long to update.

Now done. Milestones of note include our 100th Group Read, A Handful of Dust by Evelyn Waugh in November 2018, and our first repeat Group Read with Aleksanda Solzhenitsyn's The First Circle appearing in both December 2016 and July 2019

I've updated the list of group reads to October 2022. We have 147 group reads since 2010, and the list has links to each discussion. There are a couple of repeats, and I've also included the bonus all year read of Uwe Johnson's Anniversaries.
