There was an article in today's Times and also a story on BBC News about a 14-year old girl who has been frozen after dying of cancer. She thinks that in (say) 200 years they may find a cure for her particular type of cancer and bring her back, cure her, and all will be hunky dunky. Pictures of a facility in USA where bodies are stored, 6 at a time, in liquid nitrogen upside down. I'm not sure about the freezing technology but it's very possible that there will be a cure. My problem is will anybody then be interested in bringing her 'back'? People put flowers on the graves of parents and grandparents but after 200 years will anyone be interested in this girl? And even if someone knows about her will they want to bring her back?
