3. The Maze by Catherine Coulter
4. Riptide by Catherine Coulter
5. Miss Buncle's Book by D. E. Stevenson

Okay, I've decided I'm going to stop reading books that I don't really like, and I'm not going to list those--just the ones I enjoyed or would recommend. So, starting over....

1. The Piper on the Mountain by Ellis Peters
2. Miss Buncle's Book by D. E. Stevenson
3. Miss Buncle Married by D. E. Stevenson
4. Jesus > Religion by Jefferson Bethke
5. The Two Mrs. Abbotts by D. E. Stevenson
6. Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear

Ouch, now I'm really behind. Oh well, this is a better list!

You can still list those books that you read and didn't like - I find that if I don't like a book- I stay away from that author. I sometimes reread a book like Pride and Prejudice - my favourite- if I have recently read a really bad book.

Yes, I understand I can list everything -- but I want to encourage myself to look for books I'm going to appreciate, not just "stuff" to fill up the list. I like your idea of reading an old favorite to offset a bad one. My listed books have all been new so far, but I have a big collection, and I plan to re-visit some of them during the year. I have a lot of Ellis Peters books saved up to read while I have some time off in a few weeks, and they are a combination of new and previously-read. (Woo-hoo, can't wait!)
