seeking le Fantome by Remy de Gourmont in English transaltion

Hello All,

I have been researching the partner and muse of Remy de Gouromont, Berthie de Courriere who the model for Gouromont's Sixtine, his novel Le Fantome, as well as one of the primary models for Huysman's Mme Chantelouve. A fascinating woman who is generally done an disservice to by biographers in English. She was a writer herself, publishing often in Mercure de France. She wrote a wonderful piece in opposition to Dr Charcot and his theories of hysteria entitles Neron, prince de la science.

In any case, my French is not to a point I can comfortably read a novel. Is anyone aware of an English translation of Le Fantome?

Hello Madeleine. "The Phantom" is one of the long stories translated in the Dedalus collection, The Angels of Perversity.
