The Huffington Post was asking the question" Have you ever wondered whether, if given the opportunity, Jeb Bush would go back in time to kill Adolf Hitler in his crib?"

“Hell yeah, I would!” the former Florida governor told HuffPost. “You gotta step up, man.”
The question initially arose when The New York Times Magazine polled its readers last month and found that a plurality of respondents said they would, in fact, kill Hitler as a baby.

Recognizing that time travel could be hazardous, I was wondering if this eminent group had encountered any Comics with Time travel as a theme.

I know Cover Artist George Wilson and Artist Lou Cameron did no. #133 of Classics Illustrated for H.G. Wells The time Machine.

Another is "TheTime Trap" by Edgar P. Jacobs. Though in retrospect I would not use time travel to murder a baby but rather stop Gavrilo Princip from his fatal gesture in Sarajevo.

There's probably TONS that I'm not thinking of off the bat that at least touch on time travel, even if it's not necessarily the main theme. I just did a search of my books here on LibraryThing and came up with:

52, Volume 4
Captain America/Thor: The Mighty Avengers - this had been a Free Comic Book Day giveaway
and Superhero, which isn't actually a comic book but a kids' picture book; however, it definitely nods to comic books as an inspiration.

But I'm not as a big a comics reader as the other folks on here, so I'm sure they'll come up with many more. :)

Timewalker, by the new Valiant comics, deals with a roguish time-traveling protagonist.

Off the top of my head...

Booster Gold's whole story at DC is essentially a time travel story - the guy dropped from future after all :) Or the whole idea of "The Legion of Super-Heroes". Or "DC One Million". Or "Armageddon 2001" a.k.a "What not to do when we travel back in time" :)

Cable at Marvel is on the opposite track - born in our time, sent to the future (and in the X-Men lineup, there is a lot of stories like that. "Days of Future Past" for example)

Outside of the superheros...
The Red Wing, Universal War 1 (both volumes) (I need to reread this...), Jason's I Killed Adolf Hitler if you like his style (I am a fan but people seem to either hate or love him)

A few of the ones I grabbed last week seem to be about time travel but will post again when I get around to reading them (and when I look through what else I have around the house).

This is the best explanation for Armageddon 2001. Should be the Haiku Summary for the Omnibus Collection.

>6 apokoliptian:

Was there an omnibus (or even a collection) published of those? As much as I like the storyline, I am not sure I ever saw it collected. :) And that had been my pet name for it ever since I read it. Waverider did manage to mess up all that he could....

>7 AnnieMod:

Up to now, there is no collection of it. But when it appears, the haiku summary is yours.

I read it in flops and got stuck to the storyline, but it literally flopped in the end. The Legion edition with the future of Lobo is genius.

>3 BruceCoulson: I believe you mean Ivar, Timewalker. I have three volumes (I'm not sure if it continues after that), but haven't read them yet.

Also, the two volumes of Miss Fury. The second volume just came out and I think the first came out last year. The whole story is about time travel and alternate realities. I loved it.
