Jewish Illuminated Manuscripts

I don't know if just mentioning a new book, with which i have (alas!) no connection is OK, but I just got and read "Skies of Parchment - Seas of Ink / Jewish Illuminated Manuscripts", ed. by M. M. EPSTEIN, Princeton U. Press and I found it both interesting and illuminating. I guess quite a few of our Group's members could enjoy it.

I just had a look at this on Amazon, and how I wish I could afford it!

Prof Epstein was a visiting Professor at University of Toronto last fall. He gave an excellent series of talks on Jewish manuscripts.
