Hi Everybody!

My name is George. My wife and I live in northern Italy. She is from here, but I am 'Murican. I've several passions, but reading and writing are perennially in the top part of that list.

I read voraciously and have for as long as I can remember. I write, as I always say, for the simple reason of having done so. More or less, the literary equivalent of cocktail napkin doodling. Never even tried to publish anything. In fact, it barely crossed my mind, but lately have thought some about it. Perhaps that will change in the future, but who knows?

Fantasy is usually my number one genre, though at times it has been displaced by Science Fiction or Spy Thrillers. I proudly admit to having read, and liked, a number of YA books as I feel some of the best stories, if not always the writing, are coming out of that category.

Favorite reads? That's almost like listing which breath is my favorite - they are all important! But here are a few Fantasy authors (subject to revision at my whim) I especially enjoy: Tolkien, Gaiman, Salvatore, Butcher, Glen Cook, GRR Martin.

Hi everyone my name is Kerryn and I'm a writer. I LOVE all things epic and dark fantasy the richer the world and characters the better for me to lose myself in.

A Bit About Me
I'm 28 with 3 young girls (1.5, 3 & 5) glutton for punishment, I know. I started writing poetry when I was very young and began my epic fantasy masterpiece when I was 16. Unfortunately for many years I was too busy pumping out babies to write (I hit a pretty big wall, hard and for a long time the words just wouldn't come) so my manuscript is incomplete. I'm putting that piece aside for now and working on developing my skills through a fantasy, horror and Sci-fi writing course and by pumping out as many short stories as I can.

So far I've submitted 3 written assessments receiving 2 distinctions and a credit, yay!! I'm loving the course but must confess I could be more committed.

While I have many, many great authors that inspire me I would have to say that Isobelle Carmody's Obernewtyn Chronicles are my all time favourite and treasured books. I find myself constantly rereading them and each time that I do my appreciation for the richness and depth of her works awakens my inner muse and makes me feel a deep urge to fulfil my life's works, yes works, one of my problems is I have several stories and novels in progress at the same time, all at various stages of their development. Every time I try to focus on just one I'll have an amazing idea that fits one of the novels I'm not supposed to be working on.

I'll get there though, one day lol. I could talk all day about my inspirations, writing process, hurdles I've faced, the novels and short stories I'm working on but I won't. I still have a lot to learn but am proud to call myself a weaver of fantasy and builder of worlds. Not trying to blow my own horn but I'm not afraid to say I have talent, all I need to do is hone my skills and focus on my work and one day I'll see my name gracing the cover of my very own published novel.

Hey all, I'm Cheryl. I am 29, soon to be 30 in June. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

My favorite genres include memoir, poetry, fantasy, and horror.

I write music reviews, band biographies, and pop culture articles on my blogs. My reviews and poems have also been published in magazines. I started dabbling in fiction for NaNoWriMo 2020. My debut novel, The Black Moon of Lilith, is currently in the revision stage. It's an urban fantasy story about a librarian's assistant who discovers the Grim Reaper's cloak.

Hello folks. Daisy here. I've written since I first learned how. I've had two flash fiction stories published under an alias, and am currently co-authoring a cookbook/food history book with an Amazon bestselling author. I write short stories of every kind, have some novels I'm working on, and have written two educational children's picture books that I am looking for an illustrator for (if anybody knows somebody good at drawing plants and animals).

As to reading, I am a major bibliophile to my core. I read mainly nonfiction, historical fiction, and action adventure, but I'll give almost anything a chance.

I am a book reviewer, blurb writer, and affordable comprehensive editor for indie authors, so if you'd like my help just reach out. :-)
